Children's Program Consent

This consent applies to the children’s program accompanying the Second Workshop on Mathematical Data Science, taking place at Kurhaus Schluchsee, Fischbacher Str. 7, 79859 Schluchsee, Germany, July 20–24, 2026.


The children’s program may include a variety of activities, such as a magic show, arts and crafts, board games, and an interactive science show. Parents and guardians must remain at the workshop location while their child is attending.


Please submit one form for each child.

You may provide a mobile number so program staff can reach you quickly if your child needs you. You may leave this field blank if you can be reached immediately in the adjacent workshop area.

Group and activity photographs and videos

During the children’s program, the organizer may take:

  • group photographs; and

  • natural highlight photographs and video clips showing children taking part in activities.


The child’s name, school and other identifying information will not be published with the photographs or videos.


Photo and video consent is voluntary. Refusing consent does not affect the child’s participation.


The child’s wishes will also be respected. A child who does not wish to be photographed or recorded will not be deliberately photographed or recorded, even where the parent or guardian has given consent.

Photographs and videos will be used only for the website and presentation purposes for which consent is given above.


The participation information is processed because it is necessary to organize and safely provide the children’s program. Photographs and videos are processed only on the basis of the consent selected above.


The form is hosted through Wix. Wix processes form submissions on behalf of the organizer. Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area subject to applicable data-protection safeguards.


Only the organizers and program staff who need the information will have access to it. Photograph and video files may also be accessed by persons responsible for photography and maintaining the workshop website.


Photo and video consent may be withdrawn for future use by contacting:

Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before the consent was withdrawn. After withdrawal, the organizer will stop future use and remove the relevant material from websites under its control where reasonably possible. Material published online may be copied, indexed or stored by third parties. Material already stored outside the organizer’s control may not be completely removable from the internet.


Parents and legal guardians may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information where applicable. They may also restrict or object to certain processing and file a complaint with the competent German data-protection supervisory authority.


Providing the child’s and parent’s names and the required confirmations is necessary to submit this form. Providing a mobile number and agreeing to photographs or videos are optional.
